This week I chat with Irish Bank Team Manager, Campbell Baird. Last month Ireland took gold in this years home international at Garnffrwd, Wales. Campbell tells us of the methods, tactics and flies which brought Ireland success. For this week's episode I thought it was about time I dedicated an episode to grayling. It's that time of year when social media is full of photographs of these beautiful fish. For me tho, I never had the passion or urge to catch them so thought it's about time I chatted with someone to see what is the attraction. I chat with one of the most successful river international anglers in the country, Terry Bromwell. He gives methods, flies, tackle, tips and advice on how to catch them for anyone interested in fishing for then in the coming cold winter months ahead.
This week I chat with Yorkshire angler, Melvyn Wood. A talented fly tyer with a passion for traditional wet flies and enjoys nothing more than drifting on a lough or lake fishing for wild browns. He chats about his trips to Orkney and Ireland including, Corrib, Arrow, the lakes of Donegal and Currane plus his local water Malham Tarn where he tells us the story of a magnificent brown he caught over 9lb earlier this year.

This weeks podcast episode I meet up with Jamie Harries at one of the most famous sea trout and salmon beats in the country, Abercothi, on the River Towy. He is fishery manager of Golden Grove and has a real passion for sea trout since a young boy. He tells of the many stories and experiences as a ghillie on the river. This weeks episode I chat once more with Explorer and BBC Presenter, Will Millard. He tells us the story of the ferox trout he caught in Scotland only last week. Also chats about behind the scenes while filming two documentaries 'A year with the tribe' and 'Hunters of the South Seas' plus some powerful words of how fishing helped him through some dark times when he suffered with PTSD.

This weeks podcast I head down to Devon and Cornwall and fish both Colliford & Wimbleball on probably the hottest days in nearly a hundred years. Fishing was tough but good to see plenty of fry feeders already active on Wimbleball and had some fantastic fishing at Colliford for wild browns and to my surprise wild common carp.
This weeks episode I chat with Ted Wherry. He has such a passion for wild browns he left his home in the UK and moved over to the West of Ireland near the shores of Lough Corrib. He fishes most days throughout the season and loves fishing dries, whether its buzzer time, olives, mayfly or sedges. He has had great success over the years catching fish between 4 to 7lb most seasons. He also talks of his timber boat which is his pride and joy.
This weeks Podcast episode I chat with Waterford angler Jason O Riordan. Early season he can be seen fishing his local reservoir Knockaderry for both browns and rainbows, but as soon as the weather warms up he turns to the salt to fish for Bass and Mullet. It is plain to see he has a passion for Bass and fishes the eastuary near his home and along the Copper Coast. He also talks of the occasional trip up to Corrib and the enjoyment he gets fishing with good friends.
